SESUG is offering Academic Grants for qualified applicants to learn more about
SAS® by attending the SESUG 2019 conference October 20-22, 2019
in Williamsburg, VA.

Students
- Full time students in accredited degree-granting program.
- Use SAS software for research or studies as part of their current academic program.
- Be able to attend the entire conference.
- No prior SESUG award in this category.
APPLICATION PERIOD HAS CLOSED
Faculty
- Full time at accredited degree-granting institution including community colleges.
- Teach with SAS or use SAS in research at their primary institution.
- Be able to attend the entire conference.
- No prior SESUG award in this category.
APPLICATION PERIOD HAS CLOSED
High School Teachers
- Teach with SAS, use SAS for research or participate in SAS high school
teachers program as a full-time teacher at an accredited high school.
- Be able to attend the entire conference.
- No prior SESUG award in this category.

NOTE: Priority will be given to applicants from the SouthEast region with SouthEast region presenters given the
highest priority. Second priority will be given to applicants from the Northeast region since they do not have a
conference.

- Students
- Reduced registration rate of $50.
- Room rate of $50 per night for 2 nights for non-local grant recipients.
- Presenters qualify for up to $300 travel stipend based on
receipts.
- Food is NOT covered other than food included in the registration.
- Faculty and High School Teachers
- Reduced registration rate of $50.
- Room rate of $100 per night for 2 nights for non-local grant recipients.
- One 4-hour conference workshop of your choice at registration rate of $25.
- Presenters qualify for up to $300 travel stipend based on receipts.
- Food is NOT covered other than food included in the registration.

- Network with other SAS users.
- Learn how SAS is used in many industries.
- Expand your SAS knowledge and skills.
- Present your SAS work. This is encouraged, but not required.
- Learn more about career opportunities for SAS users.
- Enhance your experience by volunteering. Check out the volunteer information on the SESUG Website.
Grantees are required to volunteer for at least one shift.
