Bring Your Own Device
Workshops and hands-on-trainings this year will be set up such that attendees should bring their own device! This page will be updated as more information becomes available, so please check back here for more information as we get closer to the conference.
Attendees do not need to have SAS licenses on their own computers. However, if attendees decide they want to use their own computers and SAS licenses during the presentations, class materials will be available on USB for selected sessions.
SAS On Demand for Academics
Some tutorials and workshops will be using SAS On Demand for Academics. You can learn more about SAS On Demand for Academics (a free, cloud version of SAS software open to anyone wanting to learn) by visiting their
website.
No laptop? No problem!
Attendees are welcome to attend HOW sessions and watch as the instructor works through the exercises on the screen. For tutorials, you will still need to be signed up for the tutorial to attend and receive the materials, but are not required to bring a device. Examples, code, and documentation will be available to you regardless of your ability to access them onsite at the conference!
