Academic Grant

SESUG is offering Academic Grants for qualified applicants to learn more about SAS by attending the SESUG 2013 conference in St. Pete Beach, FL – October 20-23, 2013.

   Who is Eligible

Student

  • Full time students in accredited degree-granting program.
  • Use SAS software for research or studies.
  • Paper/poster presenters receive priority consideration.

Faculty
  • Full time at accredited degree granting institution.
  • Teach with SAS or use SAS in research.
  • We strongly encourage submission of paper or poster for priority consideration.

High School teachers
  • Full time teacher.
  • Use SAS in the classroom.
  • Paper/poster presenters receive priority consideration.

   Two Levels of Support

  1. Students
    • Registration rate of $50.
    • Room rate of $50 per night for 3 nights.
    • Presenters add maximum $300 travel stipend. (Receipts required.)

  2. Faculty and Teachers
    • Conference registration.
    • One four-hour workshop.

   Important Application Dates

  • Thursday March 21, 2013 – Academic Grant application available on SESUG Website.
  • Monday June 10, 2013 – Academic Grant applications close.
  • Monday June 24, 2013 – Academic Grant acceptances sent out.

   Important Dates for Paper Presenters (not required)

  • Monday May 20, 2013 – Deadline for Abstract Submission.
  • Monday August 19, 2013 – Final papers are due.
