Tutorials are in-depth explanations of a wide range of topics within the SAS System. Papers are designed to provide users at all levels of expertise with specific "how-to" tools presented in a step-by-step approach. Since even experienced SAS users are always beginners at something, presentations are classified as Beginning if they can be understood by an audience who has never heard the keywords before. Advanced papers assume the audience has a good working knowledge in the general subject area. Tutorial presenters are experienced with Base SAS in their own environments as well as with their chosen topics.
