Abstract:
This workshop will demonstrate techniques for collecting and validating data via the Internet. Whether it is survey data, online data collection, or just plain data entry, the internet provides a convenient means to get that information into SAS.
This wor
kshop will discuss the techniques for setting up web-based forms. Attendees will learn scripting routines for client-side validation. SAS/IntrNet will be used to connect the forms to server-side SAS processes. Server-side SAS techniques for additional vali
dation will also be presented. The workshop will emphasize SAS/IntrNet, HTML, and JavaScript code with
specific examples for web-based data collection and validation. It is intended for all levels
of SAS expertise.
