The DATASETS procedure can be used to do many functions that are normally done within a SAS data step more efficiently.
For example:
· Labeling and renaming variables
· Concatenating and indexing datasets
This paper will demonstrate the power of the PROC D
ATASETS procedure and the enhancements made in V8. This paper is intended for beginning to intermediate SAS users. PROC DATASETS is a powerful procedure that everyone needs to know.
