Abstract: Most SASŪ users are aware that SAS has a macro facility but are unsure of how they can use it or are fearful that macros are too difficult. Although macros can be very complex, they can be helpful in writing general-purpose SAS programs; in some instances, they are absolutely critical to an application.

Biography:
Andrew Traldi has been working as an independent SAS consultant since 1988, specializing in finanical modeling, reporting, and application development for 14 years; he has been a member of the SAS Partner program since 1997. He received a Master's degree i n Statistics from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.
