To generate randomization tables is a kind of routine for a statistician who works for clinical trials. There are many approaches for this. SAS has a procedure PROC PLAN to handle this task. However, each time the
randomization plan is different in terms o
f sampling strategy, sample size, number of treatments, number of blocks and block combination. One easy solution is to put these options in a GUI, then make choices for relevant sampling parameters, finally press a button to generate the randomization tab
le. This paper is to show our approach to realize this objective by using SAS procedures and SAS/AF. The interface is simple. Even people who have no SAS knowledge can run the program.
